Maputo (1996) The theme “Human Personality” expresses the value I give to all my experience and learning by contact with other people. It is this contact that makes me understand that everything passes through interpersonal dialogue. Whether in hard or happy moments, ‘man’ should always prioritise dialogue. Everything is learned by direct or indirect communication between people. This relationship determined and will always determine the evolution and development of the artist’s work. Creativity and academism strengthen the existence of man in his work, in this case the artistic work. I consider the seven phases of my work as a creativity I have been developing since 1983. They emerge as a necessity I always felt to learn and create new forms to relate myself to my artistic work, based on the principle: it is important to listen, to learn better. And as an autodidact I based myself always on this principle. |
