Carlos Calvet

Carlos Calvet 

Born in Lisbon in 1928 

Architect and Painter 

Works in painting since 1944 and exhibits since 1947. 

By the late 40s he became interested strongly by surrealism, having participated in the exhibition "The Surrealists," the Hall of Pathé Baby, Lisbon, 1949. 

From 1959 until today held 36 solo exhibitions and participated in over fifty collective, in Portugal and abroad.
