She attended the Escola de Artes Decorativas António Arroio in Lisbon, the Academia de la Grande Chaumière in Paris, and the Photography course at Ar.Co in Lisbon, developing from an early stage an artistic path marked by the crossing of different visual disciplines.

Over several decades she has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, regularly presenting her work in galleries, cultural institutions and museum spaces. Her exhibition history includes shows in Lisbon, Porto, Madeira, the Azores, Cape Verde, Macau and Paris, consolidating a continuous presence on the Portuguese art scene.

Alongside her exhibition activity, she has worked in the field of illustration, notably producing the illustrations for the book Diana e Teresa, by João Coelho dos Santos.

Her work forms part of important institutional and corporate collections, among them the Banco de Portugal, Banco Comercial Português, Fundação Oriente, Fundação Engenheiro António de Almeida, Fundação Joe Berardo, Museu Automóvel do Caramulo, Fundação das Comunicações, Sociedade Estoril Sol and various private collections in Portugal and abroad.

Her work is also referenced in key publications such as 75 Artistas em Portugal, by Margarida Botelho, and the Dicionário de Pintura e Escultura Portuguesa, by Fernando Pamplona.
