Maísa ChampalimaudBorn in Lisbon, Maísa Champalimaud is a Portuguese-Brazilian artist whose practice is distinguished by gestural freedom, intensity of colour and an intuitive approach to the creative process. Her distinctive visual language brings together memory, personal experience and cultural references in vibrant, expressive compositions.
She holds a degree in Painting and Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon, where she studied between 2006 and 2011.
