Jean Pierre Porcher
Jean Pierre Porcher was born in La Roche-sur-Yon, France. He has lived and worked in Portugal since 1986.
He graduated as Architecte DPLG in France in 1981. In 1986, he founded TOPOS ATELIER de Arquitectura, which he continues to direct. His work in urban planning and architecture has been published, exhibited and awarded nationally and internationally.
Porcher has presented numerous solo exhibitions, including exhibitions at Galeria São Mamede, Lisbon (2012, 2014, 2017, 2020 and 2023), Galeria São Mamede, Porto (2015 and 2017), Galerie Keller, Paris (2019), Galeria Arq.com, Porto (2017), Galeria SBN, Porto (2017), and Galeria Mário Sequeira, Braga (2005).
His duo exhibitions include presentations at the Assembly of the Republic, Lisbon (2014), Galeria São Mamede, Porto (2012), and the Museum of Transport and Communications, Porto (1998).
Since 2000, he has participated in approximately fifty group exhibitions, including exhibitions at Galeria São Mamede, Lisbon; Art 4 Moz, Marina Douro, Vila Nova de Gaia; Galeria Arte Vale do Lobo, Algarve; Feira de Arte e Antiguidade, Lisbon; Mosteiro de Tibães, Braga; Museu Abade de Baçal, Bragança; Museu de Lamego; Museu Alberto Sampaio, Guimarães; Museu Terra de Miranda; Museu D.
